Men’s Land Navigation Workshop

Ever wondered if you could find your way through the woods without Google Maps, Siri, or your wife’s directions? Now’s your chance to learn.

On Saturday, May 16 at 8:30 AM at the church, the men’s group will be hosting a 3.5-hour Introduction to Land Navigation workshop to help prepare for the Tony Challenge at the upcoming men’s retreat. We’ll start with a short classroom session and then head into the woods to practice real navigation skills.

What to bring:

·       Clothes appropriate for the woods

·       A simple baseplate compass with a clear baseplate (like this one Silva Starter #123 Map Compass)

Whether you’re experienced outdoors or can barely find the church parking lot exit, you’re welcome. Come learn how to navigate the old-fashioned way!
